The Enforcer

Joshua is our mini rule-keeper. I first remember it happening one day when he was sitting on the potty and Elizabeth came into the bathroom. He told her "Elizabeth! Go Away! Elizabeth! Go playroom!" It was cute the first couple of times, but then it started to border on rude. So I told him he should tell her "please go play".
Since then every now and then Joshua will let he other two know if they are not doing what they should. Like tonight as we were driving home from swimming with Grandma. Everyone wanted to look at the same Wiggles book. James had it and Joshua was told that he would get it next. Elizabeth was sitting in the far back and started crying/whining/screaming for the Wiggles book. I told her she would have to wait until we got home. After telling her that a few times I had to be more blunt "no Wiggles Elizabeth". A minute later when she yelled our "Wiggles!" Joshua said, "Elizabeth, no Wiggles!!"
But besides being our mini rule-keeper he is also the first one to offer up something he has to his brother or sister that has none, or to share something he has. He is a very sweet boy. I guess we'll keep him :) Good times, good times!
