From the mouths of our kids...(Dad again)

I think this will be the first of many quick little posts that will help get Stephanie and I through the month of November. Also, since Mom is a little under the weather Dad is taking back the reins and doing a little blogging.

We were playing at the Children Museum and it was getting close to going and Mom told James that is was almost time to go, James' reply was, "In a minute". He did not yell no like some kids, instead he replied with that. Which would make sense because we have started to give all the kids choices when they want to do something, right now or in a minute. Most of the time they choose in a minute, but that is okay, because we are alright with waiting another minute. They are usually okay with leaving after a short wait since that was their choice.

Such great tactics we learn as parents. More to come soon.

So cute! Have you read "Love and Logic?" Great book and same type of parenting techniques -- all about choices, etc. Apparently there is a "Love and Logic" for teenagers version. We should start reading up now!!

By the way, James...how are the Shamwows treating you? Dying for a report here....
